Jinx started in October 1934 and ran for 151 issues. Its last issue was December 15, 1941, just before Ted committed suicide. Originally put out on a monthly basis, it became a weekly publication in October of 1939.
Here is the third and final fifty issues of Jinx Magazine all bound into one hardbound volume. Issues 101-151 from July 1940 to December 1941. Ted Annemann and others have contributed some of the finest magic to this almost than 300-page volume. Magic with eggs, forcing, liquids, cards, balls, bills, billets, book tests, brain tests, cards (impromptu and faked), mentalism, matches, handkerchiefs, number effects, coins, cigarettes, miscellaneous magic and much more. There is a huge section on reviews of magician's shows and programs as well as press comments, tips, and improvements, a great cartoon collection, etc. All articles and effects are fully indexed for easy location.
